It was a daunting task: write a score for a short film in 48 hours!
Luckily, the film is great, and everything came together in time! Filmed and produced in isolation and entered into the Isolation Film Festival, the 3-minute short “Breaking Free” is a mixture of comedy, romance, personal struggle and redemption. All in 3 minutes!
Thank you to Michael Masurkevitch for bringing me on board, and to Michael, Krista Barzso and Daniel Dunn for their great work on this. It was a lot of fun and I was glad to be part of it!
From the Director: In “Breaking Free” a man trapped in his basement tries to connect with his girlfriend and break his writer’s block, until forced to confront that the place he is really trapped is inside his own mind.
